Recently I over heard a friend tell his daughter to 'google' for some information online. Knowing how popular Google is and also knowing how tight the job market is these days, I'm wondering if the average person realizes just how much money they give away when they 'google' or tell someone else to 'google' to find something on the internet.

Search engines are earning $100s of millions of dollars! And most search engines are privately owned either by the founder or the stock holders. What I mean by that is, the users of search engines aren't making any money by doing a 'google' or 'yahoo' search! So what, you might ask? Plenty, I say!

Ad-revenue sharing is quickly becoming one of the simplest and most dependable methods to earn passive income online: social networks, search engines and advertising networks all are paying their members a percentage of the income made from advertising dollars! You don't have to have a website or blog to take advantage of many of these passive income opportunities -- but having a FREE website makes it even simpler to get started building a good online presence as you earn cash!

Currently I use SCOUR on a daily basis for my preliminary searches. If I can't find what I'm looking for with SCOUR then I use Winzy! Each allows me to earn points/credits that are redeemable for either Visa Cash cards or other 'prizes' that I can use! I sometimes use Yahoo search when the information that I get with my paying search engines isn't enough to answer my question. However, once I make sure that I get my piece of the 'search engine pie' it's fair game to look for additional results on a non-paying engine.

So the next time you need to find something online, stop and ask yourself this question: Am I smart enough to use a search engine that's gonna pay ME for searching or am I gonna keep searching and making others rich?!

Do the math, I'm sure you'd rather get 'dollars' for searching, social networking or even advertising your business online!

As always, I've been researching site owner administrative and marketing tools. For the past month I've been using TweetLater as a way to create, store and post most of my important tweets. I've found some outstanding reasons to use TweetLater! The greatest reason is the ability to automate recurring tweets which saves a tremendous amount of time because it eliminates the need to login to Twitter everyday to post routine informative tweets! Now I login to Twitter to post up-to-the-minute WebPreneur/marketing business news and to connect with "Tweeple" that share a common outlook!

TweetLater is a free program that anyone with a Twitter account can use. There is also a paid version with an entire suite of excellent features which are too numerous to mention here. As you know, I specialize in finding free ways for the average person to become successful with making money online, So. . . Once your TweetLater account is created you simply plug in your Twitter account(s) login information and begin creating your tweets for immediate or delayed posting and/or saving as drafts.

The save as draft aspect is perhaps my favorite feature! I truly appreciate saving my more inspired, along with my more redundant tweets as drafts because I can go back later and select the drafts I want to post for the next day or two and schedule them at one time! So far, it appears tweets can be scheduled hours, days, weeks and even months ahead of time! This saves hours of time creating similar tweets while it automates my tweet posting giving me an almost constant presence online via Twitter! As you know, keeping yourself in the public eye is the greatest aspect of building a reputable persona which is the cornerstone of successful marketing!

I have tried a few other auto tweet programs however the user interface, draft storage option and overall ease of use weren't as simple or available as TweetLater's.

Since Twitter is fast becoming THE marketing tool of choice for countless mega-corporations as well as medium to small and home based businesses, creating and maintaining an active Twitter presence is a must! Utilizing effective and dependable auto-tweeting programs is also a must so for my '$0.02' I recommend TweetLater for anyone interested in automating recurring tweets and saving yourself hours of time!

We have all heard this saying over the years. According to Wikopedia, this saying means “To have one's cake and eat it too or simply have one's cake and eat it (sometimes eat one's cake and have it too) is the instance of an individual consuming, exhausting, taking advantage of or using up a particular thing and, then, after that thing is gone or no longer reasonably available, still attempting to benefit from or use it.” Generally this is a negative staying. But what if I told you there is a way to consume something and benefit from that same something.

I know it’s hard to believe, but what if there were such a program? Wouldn’t you want to take advantage of it?

Let’s look at all the household items you use every month. Things like laundry soap, fabric softener, glass cleaner, and dish soap. I think it is safe to say that the average family spends from $50.00 to $175.00 a month on these items. So, you ask, how do I get these double benefits just from cleaning my house?

It gets even better. You can also get this benefit for losing weight and even having some snacks.

Dr. Robin, you ask, how can this be? When I buy something the only benefits I get is the enjoyment or weight loss or a clean house. When those products are gone they are gone and so is my the money I spent on them. SO what in the world are you talking about?

The Government and the IRS have stated that if you are an associate, distributor or IBO (independent business owner) for a network marketing company, and that company requires you to purchase a certain amount of product to stay qualified (often referred to as autoship) to receive your commissions, the amount of those purchases is a business expense, even if you use these products yourself.

Even though I have had this verified by several attorneys and tax specialists, as always check with your own attorney or tax expert.

Here’s how it works. If company M says you have to get 70 points (BV, CV, etc) to maintain your position in the company and be eligible for commissions. The cost is $85.00 to obtain those 70 points. Then the $85.00 worth of products that Company M required you to purchase is tax deductable as a business expense. This deduction applies even if you use these products yourself in your own home. If you joined Company M, the benefits would be as follows:

1. Business expense of $85.00 (tax write off)

2. You stay qualified for your commission checks

3. You get use dollars you are currently spending to clean your house, lose weight, or just have some great snacks (redirection of funds, that is no increase in spending) to stay active in Company M.

4. You now have another stream of income (commissions from Company M) and you can potentially make enough in commissions to pay for the products!

Well I feel like I'm awakening from a very deep sleep -- one of those induced sleeps similar to the one Sleeping Beauty encountered. . .

It's been months since I've even had the clairity to turn on my laptop to check on any of my personal online business -- I've been undergoing intense physical therapy treatments due to what I'd hoped was a minor auto injury back in October of 2007. . . Physically, I'm in need of a great deal of specialized and generous attention, somewhat like the ailing income market is for many of us nationally!

So, today, I login to my 6dgr account, just to welcome new friends and see what's going on and guess what? I've been earning money just by being an active member! How can you BEAT that????

Being Self-Employed online requires diligence and alertness. Then too, you have to be connected to some savvy experienced webpreneurs along with some HUNGRY relatively new marketers! Knowing that, I've created a SKYPE account and provide my SKYPE ID to certain networking sites, individuals and traffic generation programs. Since I've just started using SKYPE as a viable marketing method, my success rate can't be measured -- out of 2 new contacts within 30 days, only 1 has signed up for any of my programs. I could say that I have a 50% success rate, however, that would REALLY be doing a slimy job of hard selling the pros of using SKYPE -- which I'm not going to do!

What I am going to do is maintain a log of the positive marketing aspects of SKYPE and other online services, which includes 'converting' chance visitors into buying customers and loyal followers. Then, I'll be able to either endorse SKYPE as a fantastic marketing tool or keep SKYPE in the great FREE telecommunications tool category!

One of the new webpreneurs I've met on SKYPE introduced me to "TweeterGetter" which promises up to 19,530 site visitors in 30 days! The "TweeterGetter" promo boasts that the service/program utilizes "viral marketing' in combination with Twitter to generate explosive amounts of traffic to your site/blog or social network profile page.

Viral marketing is a phrase that has been used rather heavily online in the past 90 days -- many start up internet businesses revolve around providing simple traffic building methods to site/blot owners. The "viral" aspect involves the same principle as a relay race: 1 person starts out at a certain speed and the baton gets passed to faster and faster team mates so that the fastest runner is allowed to win the race for the team! Ok, not exactly the best metaphor but viral marketing does require team work, in that 1 person gets the initial sign up and passes the opportunity to the next person which benefits number 1 and ostensibly, in the long 'run,' the entire team of webpreneurs/marketers has grown its visibility to far more people than if having to market their site/blog alone!

Over the next few weeks, I'll be bringing you more information regarding viral marketing especially which programs work, which have lots of promise but little delivery and those that are nothing but methods of getting your email address in order to sell you stuff you don't want or need!

In the meantime, I'm giving "TweeterGetter" a trial run and invite you to join me! The most we have to loose is 2 minutes -- which is how long it took me to send out a 'tweet' to Twitter with the "TweeterGetter" interface. However, if "TweeterGetter" can live up to even half of it's promise, I'll have gained 9,765 new visitors to my Twitter account which JUST might convert into avid blog readers and loyal customers!

Using Twitter just got more meaningful to me -- and testing "TweeterGetter" just became more interesting!

I said in my previous blog post that the most effective online advertising is one that gets the most targeted traffic to your website. But how do you get targeted website traffic? Where do you find all the targeted prospects who may be interested in buying what you have to offer?

Apparently there are many ways to find targeted website traffic.

For example, almost for any niche, you can use Pay Per Click advertising to get targeted traffic to your website. But Pay Per Click can be costly if you do not have a good sales process.

There is another easy way to get targeted website traffic without spending much money. But many people are not using it.

The method is to get the targeted traffic from other people’s list - also known as joint venture. But it’s not what you think.

You see, the internet has developed into a stage where almost every active online user is on someone’s list, depending on what their interests are.

A dog lover is on the list of some dog training gurus, an opportunity seeker is on the list of some internet marketing gurus and so on.

So if you want to penetrate into any market niche, your job really is to think of a JV proposal that is mutually beneficial and get your targeted traffic directly from the list owners in your niche.

If you can rinse and repeat this single technique, you will be the next guru in your own niche in no time.

Many years back, a 24-year-old newbie online marketer went round asking other newbie marketers to contribute a chapter to his new ebook, on the agreement that each of them will promote the free ebook to their lists. This newbie marketer did this trick a few times with different internet marketers and soon became one of the renowned gurus in the IM industry.

Can you see how simple this idea is? It’s a win-win-win situation. The organizer and contributors win by getting more exposure and thus building their lists. The people in their lists win by getting great tips for free. But the organizer wins the most, since he gets the most exposure by being the organizer.

I’m sure you can do something like this too, can’t you?

Today, this simple tactic has evolved into something more complicated and powerful. Instead of contributing just one chapter, hundreds of marketers now group together to giveaway free ebooks, MP3s, videos and software.
