Google it or Get Paid to Search? What do you do? YEisHere

Recently I over heard a friend tell his daughter to 'google' for some information online. Knowing how popular Google is and also knowing how tight the job market is these days, I'm wondering if the average person realizes just how much money they give away when they 'google' or tell someone else to 'google' to find something on the internet.

Search engines are earning $100s of millions of dollars! And most search engines are privately owned either by the founder or the stock holders. What I mean by that is, the users of search engines aren't making any money by doing a 'google' or 'yahoo' search! So what, you might ask? Plenty, I say!

Ad-revenue sharing is quickly becoming one of the simplest and most dependable methods to earn passive income online: social networks, search engines and advertising networks all are paying their members a percentage of the income made from advertising dollars! You don't have to have a website or blog to take advantage of many of these passive income opportunities -- but having a FREE website makes it even simpler to get started building a good online presence as you earn cash!

Currently I use SCOUR on a daily basis for my preliminary searches. If I can't find what I'm looking for with SCOUR then I use Winzy! Each allows me to earn points/credits that are redeemable for either Visa Cash cards or other 'prizes' that I can use! I sometimes use Yahoo search when the information that I get with my paying search engines isn't enough to answer my question. However, once I make sure that I get my piece of the 'search engine pie' it's fair game to look for additional results on a non-paying engine.

So the next time you need to find something online, stop and ask yourself this question: Am I smart enough to use a search engine that's gonna pay ME for searching or am I gonna keep searching and making others rich?!

Do the math, I'm sure you'd rather get 'dollars' for searching, social networking or even advertising your business online!

FREEBIES - The Business New World Order ----- YEisHere

Everyone has been hypnotized into distrusting great opportunities, "If it's too good to be true, then it isn't true!" However, through the valiant efforts of open source developers and global users, 'freebies' are fast becoming the international business "New World Order."

With internet giant Google offering a free operating system [Google Chrome] its most strident competitor, Microsoft, is now announcing a totally free web based version of its "Office suite" which is Microsoft's top-selling and most profitable unit.

So what's in all of this for the average webpreneur or small business owner? Realizing that the word 'free' doesn't mean 'cheap' is the first step in being able to alter one's perception as to what start-up and maintenance costs have to be in today's business world.

LILO [Little In, Lots Out] is the buzz word for taking advantage of low cost and, yes freebie, ways to launch a business and make a profit. Following the trend of free offerings in order to earn higher percentages of advertising dollars AND repeat customers will help ANYONE build a good profitable business these days.

Affiliate programs, ad revenue sharing social sites, pay-to-post sites and countless other venues are available online for everyone that wants to earn income without having a lot of start up cash to invest.

Global business is changing. There's a Business New World Order that is recognizing the benefit of sharing the wealth with the little guy/gal. Take advantage of it and start your own financial empire. As the saying goes, "get in while the getting is good!"

Do a SCOUR for FREE business opportunities -- it won't cost you anything AND it'll even earn you a few bucks!

Effective Publisher-Advertiser Marketing Strategies

Now that you've followed all the steps in the "Being Self-Employed: How To Setup a Business Website" Part 1 & Part 2, you're ready to begin monetizing your site. This can be done in one of two ways: you can solicit advertisements from numerous sources to purchase ad space from you or you can offer advertising space via 'agencies' as a 'publisher.' I recommend the latter to anyone that is new to marketing, sales, internet sales and eCommerce in general.

Internet 'agencies' aren't totally like the moniker that I'm using. They are actually Affiliate Marketing companies that create advertising campaigns, ads and establish ad space pricing for their clients and provide them to website or blog owners. Website/Blog owners are termed, "publishers" and as such do not have to create a sales/marketing department of their own in order to benefit from ad revenues in cyberspace.

There are a few 'placement' and other 'creative' strategies that appear to create an incentive for visitors to click on  ads, which in turns generates income for publishers.

According to a recent article, "'Media Business' Digital Directions Day: What do advertisers want from publishers?" posted at B-to-B on Sept. 17, 2008, "I'm all for paying for value-add, but the point is we need to think as creatively about the media mix as we do about the content," said John Osborn, president-CEO of BBDO New York. ". . .Here, the creative input comes from the publisher as much as the agency," he said.

The article goes on to state, "A failed advertising effort may have several causes, including poorly considered media buys, ineffective audiences or the client's product, message or creative."

If  you think simply placing ads on a site or blog is all there is to generating advertising revenues, you won't make very much money!

"We need that two-way conversation in order to tweak things to get better results," said Eduardo Conrado, VP-global business and technology marketing and communications at Motorola Inc.

Learning to monitor visitor response to ads, along with the growth rate of traffic visiting your site/blog after ad placements, while monitoring other vital traffic statistics  will increase your skills and ability to utilize the effectiveness of affiliate marketing via advertising or 'monetizing.'

Further, keeping abreast of marketing trends and utilizing them to enhance your site's or blog's appeal is vital to successful income generation. Video delivery is very popular and profitable. Google AdSense and YouTube have developed a 'creative' that involves placing videos pertinent to your site's content to genarate sales and traffic. Accordingly, the B-to-B article confers, ". . . we're now also using video case studies," Conrado said. "We're creating the case studies and flipping them to video." He said the engagement factor is much higher, with viewers willing to watch several videos in a row and often downloading many hours of content. Videos are often shared with colleagues, making for potent viral marketing opportunities."

Working from home and/or in a small office can be extremely rewarding when eCommerce by way of a monetized website or blog is involved! Finding effective methods to increase traffic and 'conversions' is as simple as bookmarking or subscribing via RSS feed to resource sites such as YE is Here!
